Gert started to collaborate with Ron Boots in 2021, that year they released A night at Blackrock Station under the name of Ron Boots & Gert Emmens, but their second album Lost in Depths of Desolation (2024) was released under the name of Gert Emmens and Ron Boots. They performed serveral times on stage with the help of Harold van der heijden on drums.
